Re: Psychology Project

Sure, no problem. I'll do it. Edit: Never mind. I couldn't even get past the first page of your survey. Sorry, when dealing with asexuals you need to provide at least one more option for gender, even if it's only "other." But, just FYI, I am asexual and I've been happily married to anothe...

Re: An open letter to avens project team

The partnered sex just makes it look like asexuals only like sex when they are doing it to themselves which is not the case and rather leaves out those asexuals who are sex positive and within a loving relationship with a sexual where sex takes part It's and/or. So the latter could still identify a...

Re: Has coming out become passé

Coming out is still relevant for trans folks, I think, and poly. In terms of sexuality, increasing people are open to non-hetero sexualities. They aren't really as shocked to hear someone casually mention a partner of the same sex, even if they had previously had opposite sex partners. It's not &quo...

Re: "I hate being asexual and want to change"

There isn't anything inherently wrong with any of it. There's nothing wrong with a low sex drive, a high sex drive, asexuality, pansexuality, or anything else. But when something's causing you a problem- then there is something wrong with it for you . No, you can't forcibly change your orientation, ...

Yo.

I feel really weird about writing an intro, I already wrote one on AVEN. But that was over 2 years ago now... and almost entirely defunct. So I guess a revamp is warranted. I'm RDrac, I'm a transsexual neutrois who's in the process of trying to transition. I'm also a borderline romantic asexual who'...

Re: The rest of your identity

The fact that one of these days I'll probably end up in a straight jacket? Hrm... I'm guessing these are things that actually come up. Well, I'm neutrois and multiple . And a whole bunch of other stuff that doesn't come up much that, as I said, combined by all rights should put me in a straight jack...

Re: A new theory of sexuality

I think it's impossible to have a decent chart of any kind to express attraction. I know some people who are attracted to masculine women and feminine men only- technically they're bisexual, but it's far more complex than that and it's very difficult to have one graph express it. Someone on another ...

Re: Pre-asexuality views on sex?

I decided I'd just claim I was waiting until marriage and then never get married. It seemed like a good plan to me. I dated people because I thought Iw as supposed to- one of the guys I really liked, but we were 12 so it barely got to kissing- but that was it. I always thought that people only had s...

Re: "I hate being asexual and want to change"

The best advice I've seen is that you could try taking things to increase your sex drive to see if that's the problem, maybe trial and error and baby steps to get to the point where you can have sex and might even enjoy it so you can act like a sexual person. But you can't really force your orientat...
