Re: Help

Just out of curiosity, if you are opposed to romantic relationships, what kind of relationships do you "support"? I ask because there are an infinite number of relationships outside of romantic relationships; you just have to find/define what works for you.

Re: How active is your (imaginary) sex life?

I have neither sexual fantasies nor sexual dreams. I generally don't fantasize about anything; perhaps I just have a lack of imagination or am too rooted in reality ... though that may not be such a bad thing ;)

Re: How can you really, really be sure if you are asexual?

*nodding in agreement with 70thousandfathoms and orangee zest* You can never *really* be sure about anything, but if the label fits right for the moment, feel free to use it. If it doesn't fit, feel free to toss it aside and find another one or none at all. There are no rules but the ones you write ...

Cool.

[Begin ignorant question] Does everyone at the university speak both Welsh and English? [/End ignorant question.]

Re: Everything I Could Think Of

Nice work, Emma.
Just out of curiosity, what language(s) is this being translated into ... or does "translation" refer to something else altogether?

Re: [Blog Post Discussion] LGBTQQAILOLWTF?!

I agree with most of what has already been said, so I'm not going to repeat all that here. I do want to emphasize the clear advantage that a more general title has, namely that it doesn't need to be edited every time a new sexual minority wants to join. My college's GSA, for example, was called &quo...

Re: Our Knowledge Base is growing

I apologize in advance if this has already been addressed elsewhere, but what are we considering a significant reference to asexuality in scientific articles? For example, do we want articles that only briefly mention asexuality, as well as ones that focus primarily on the issue?

Re: Relationships vs relationships.

I can't help but think how Anglocentric this discussion is (for obvious, necessary reasons of communication). In some languages, such as German, all nouns are capitalized and thus the discussion of R/relationships becomes a moot point. In German, the differentiation is made between "a" fri...

Re: The rest of your identity

Aside from being "me", I: am a graduate student in engineering. am bilingual. am a slam poet. am an activist. love to sing in choirs and folk music gatherings. have been known to contra dance, though not as often as I'd like. love to cook vegetarian and vegan food. am a bit of a gender the...
