Re: Disability and asexual ?

I guess technically I'm mentally disabled, although haven't relapsed in 8 years so i'm not fully disabled. I think I mentioned in an earlier post that bipolar causes sex obsession, which sucks for people who are recovering or still sick. I came across a post of someone asexual and bipolar and they s...

Re: Not strictly relationships..Chat up lines

something personal happened with me, I never told anyone at all. I spent a fair amount of time talking online with someone and I think they wanted me to be their girlfriend and I wasn't out of the closet at that time and said I wasn't sure and lied that maybe I was attracted, although I was terrible...

Re: Does increased visibility lead to more doubt?

I am completely ashamed caitlyn jenner seems to be the new LGBT star and she seems like an asshole from what i've heard. Also now she's using asexuality as a place holder until she can find a "real" label for herself.

Re: Sexualisation of women or strong independent feminists ?

My point was that when a semi naked woman is seen then the feminazi's claim it is sexual exploitation of females by men (they forget lesbians like seeing half naked women also) but when women see hald naked fit men then it isn't sexual exploitation but "just women having some fun" in many...

Re: Sexualisation of women or strong independent feminists ?

A guy who works in a male strip club will probably do a lot better financially if he has a large, shapely package and knows how to display it to its best advantage . . . just sayin' well clearly if you're going to male strip club that's what you want to see. Probably not the same in the entertainme...

Re: Sexualisation of women or strong independent feminists ?

It's a bunch of performers who knows what sells money which is their body and their looks. It's hard for a woman to become popular without showing some skin. Without being a sex icon or beautiful. And it's the epitome of sexism because no dude has to show their dick in a thong to get money. A dude c...

I actually plan to come out to my parents once I have a place to live and become independent, just so I don't have listen about finding my special someone and making the babbys. They want the babbys. I know they do. They say they don't but they definitely want a pile of babbys. https://38.media.tumb...

Re: Asexual or medication/mental health condition?

You guys misinterpreted what I said. I was implying that the idea of your mental illness/medication confusing you about your asexuality is kinda nullifed in my experience, because the disorder causes sex obsession/hyper sex or whatever doctors call it rather than lowering your sex drive. People usua...

Re: Would you go to a lgbt pride event for asexuality

My friends are LGBT and they all pretty much agreed that exhibitionism in pride parades is appalling. It just ruins awareness. None of them find the over sexualization in LGBT community helpful. I probably couldn't agree more. I don't think this is solely an asexual thing, it's a serious problem ove...

i've got bipolar 1, been on medication for 7 years and wish I had a low sex drive :| I know my aunt has the same disorder, untreated and she seems very much like she's asexual. Re: Virgins?

I'm not sex repulsed. I realise that sex is natural and if one wants it, then one should go for it and fair enough. I just don't want to do it myself. sex repulsed is just not being comfortable with sex or just not wanting to have sex, it has nothing to do with disliking other people from having it...

I went to some meets, but got tired of it. I could not relate to any of the people there. I don't know how to describe it but they just weren't for me. Maybe I find it hard to make friends or maybe they came across as a little snobby or its just me, have no idea. I did go to a pride parade in NY and...

I'm aromantic and probably my attractions could be labeled as that. Something that isn't quite friendship but isn't romance. I think it does exist because I experienced it and many other people have as well. It's more than friendship really. I guess people want to invent new labels for stuff that la...

I guess there is the label androgynous, although it means both male and female, but I guess can apply to neither. I know creating a ton of new labels is annoying, but what I do find annoying is this new prevailing idea that the slightest thing will make you transgender without you actually having ac...

Re: Romantic and sexual orientation

i'm sure there is a biological factor in all this, because looking for a philosophical or spiritual one would probably not help. Sexual and romantic attraction are a drive to reproduce, and it seems asexuals lack the sexual part of it and aromantics lack the romantic part. Biologically they're two s...

Non-binary traits that are not trans?

So this question I put up to a lot of people and really received little to no real input. I asked the first time if it's possible that people can neither feminine or masculine traits without being trans? I got no real good responses besides "oh you can only be trans to have that" or "...

I think i'm in some kinda sex repulsed purgatory. if we think of sexualities as numbers, asexuality would be 0. 0 contains nothing but it is still considered a number. So it is an empty sexuality, but it exists and that's why it's a thing.

Re: Semi/demi/grey/pan..shouldn't they be sexual not asexual?

I would think either bi or pan label covers the rest if they are attracted to two or more genders and for asexuality, it would make sense if they were in the gray area. But how does that even work all at once? My only guess is that they're confused completely and/or can't find a label for themselves...
