UK Petition - Make Asexuality a Protected characteristic

Postby Tanwen » Wed May 25, 2016 12:26 pm

The closing date for this is 14 June - it's only for UK residents:

"In the equality act 2010, homosexual, bisexual and heterosexual persons are protected from discrimination. Asexual people, those who experience no sexual attraction at all, are not protected."

I saw it in the other place and thought it was pants there too. No law could ever keep up with the labelism the sexual identity community keeps spewing out

We can't even agree what an asexual is so how on earth can you write a law for it?

Well that petition failed spectacularly at 835 signatures and I think the threshold is 10,000. It is just as well since the "no sexual attraction definition" will just confuse people when they learned most self proclaimed asexuals identify around what sex, sexes, etc. they are attracted to.
