qu'est-ce que c'est?

Postby michaels » 26 Dec 2016, 08:12

There's no doubt that asexuality is real. We all know that it damned well exists, based on our personal experience and our observation of others.

But the only definition of asexuality available to us has a political foundation, not a scientific one. Politically-based definitions are irrelevant to the truth. They exist solely for the purpose of political action, and are for the most part rhetorical bullshit.

I propose that we start fresh and decide what asexuality is on a sound basis, which is the basis of trying to understand a real phenomenon.

So what is asexuality, really?

How do you see any political basis for the current definition of asexuality?

By that, I mean: "An asexual person is a person who does not experience sexual attraction."
If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

People want to put politics into everything but Asexuality is biological and is the lack of attractions to all genders/sexs. People try to think it's caused by a ton of things and put their agenda behind it or barely know what it is but nothing is denying it's biological. It will and always be 100% science based.
