I would like to see a quantitative study which separates sexual orientation and romantic orientation. It could challenge many societal assumptions and even the rhetoric of LGTB groups. It would throw much light and would make room for asexuality in people's mind.

For those who are interested, I've made a new page on my website for anyone interested in issues pertaining to the subject of asexuality and HSDD. It's a bibliography of the materials that I think will be most relevant for people wanting do do research in this area:

Bibliography for asexuality and Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder. Let me know what you think. Is the bibliography useful? Is there anything that you think I need to add? I realize that this is something that is going to have a rather limited of people who are really interested in in it. Still, I think that there are enough who are interested that they should find it to be useful.
