Hilo

Postby Drogone » 02 May 2016, 01:46

Hi, I'm drogone
I'm 27, and have anxiety/depression

Last night I went on my first ever "getting to know you date that's not really a date cause we're just getting ice cream after work" ...thing
We talked about school, music, video games
It was very pleasant.
I spent the rest of the night with a cranberry red bull and a Budweiser taking tests *sleep* *wake up* taking more tests, and reading experience lists.

I'm an asexual fetishist

I find ideas sexy, but not actual people
Porn is gross, but nsfw fan fiction is great

I thought if I went on a "date" with a person I had a crush on I would "get it"

I got pleasent conversation and ice cream
And that was really great :)

But I've got no one to talk about this with :(

I guess that falls into the "good news and bad news" category?
As for "getting it", though; I know what you mean. I lost count of how many times I tried. It never worked, but I eventually decided that no experience is completely wasted. I learned something each time, even if it wasn't exactly what I had hoped for.

It sucks that you don't have anybody nearby that you can talk to. Asexual fetishists are not unheard of at all, in fact they might be quite common. It can be an awkward topic to bring up, and some people will flatly refuse to admit to it even in the face of abundant evidence, but my personal suspicion is that many asexuals are in varying degrees of denial about the causes of their asexuality.

I blame that mostly on the misguided notion that asexuals not only must have no sexual attraction to other people, but that they must have no sexual interest in anything at all, ever.

Welcome to Apositive. :)

Hi and welcome

I must admit I wasn't sure if your next line was going to be do we want a kitchen? :D :D

Then I saw nsfw fan pic...wondered what it was..looked it up...and tumblr confirmed my worst fears..you haz been tumblrized

surprisingly there are quite a few asexuals who are into kink and fetish, as Nancy says, they are quite common.

as to anxiety and depression, well that also seems to place you not in a stranger group within asexuality

Welcome
